Need a certificate to justify absences due to illness, injury or caring for others, but can't get an appointment with your local doctor? Absence from work certificates can be provided by our pharmacist to verify:

* Absences from work due to illness or injury

* Absences due to illness or injury to a member of your immediate family or household (Carer's Leave).

Absence from Work Certificates are issued at the pharmacists' discretion. Our pharmacists can only issue certificates for the patients who meet the criteria and the health condition is within the pharmacists' scope of practice such as minor ailments. If the illness or injury is outside our pharmacists ability to assess, we will refer you to a doctor or other relevant healthcare professional.

Absence from Work Certficates can be issued for short periods of leave, generally 1-2 days, and cannot be backdated. You may be asked to present a form of photo identification (ID). If you need an Absence from Work Certificate for carer's leave, the person who is ill, must be present in store.
